Can you share more about the booster club and fundraising?
The Blue Diamond Booster Club strives to provide the best possible support to ensure our athletes have an amazing High School Baseball experience. In an effort to offset the contribution required from each athlete (the “Booster Club fee”), the booster club makes available many opportunities to fundraise. The more participation and effort in fundraising across all athletes and families in the program, the lower the booster fee can be for all. Soliciting sponsorships, attending fundraising events and utilizing each of our network of contacts is critical in supporting our program.

The following are several fundraising opportunities:
  • Sponsorships - Please see the Sponsorship link for more information. Our program would appreciate any donation, big or small.
  • Restaurant Nights - Notifications will be sent via email and social media when we have a restaurant fundraiser night. Your attendance is critical to the success of these fundraisers.
  • Online Fundraising Event - Our program is taking advantage of online fundraising via a nationally recognized fundraising platform. Several booster clubs here at Pinnacle utilize this platform and we are excited to see it benefit our program.
  • In Person Fundraising Events - The Boosters are always open to events where we can lend our time and energy in support of local organizations while raising funds.  If you are aware of opportunities for our club, please see a board member for assistance in coordinating.
are there any tax credits to help support the baseball program?
Yes!  Please see the information below for additional details.

AZ Public School Extracurricular Tax Credit
  • Single filers can designate up to $200.00 while joint filers can do up to $400.00. Any AZ State tax payor can contribute, even if they do not have a school age child.

AZ Qualified Charitable Organization Tax Credit
  • This is the annual Kiwanis Fundraiser. This is a dollar-for-dollar tax credit which is separate from the above mentioned tax credit. Single filers can donate up to $470.00 and joint filers up to $938.00. This donation is made payable to Kiwanis (a qualified charitable tax organization) who in turn will donate 50% back to Pinnacle Baseball. Your donation will assist both Kiwanis and Pinnacle Baseball while reducing your state tax burden. Any AZ State tax payor can contribute, even if they do not have a school age child.  More details on the Kiwanis tax credit will be shared at upcoming Booster Club meetings.
